TELearn 2008 conference

 

Important news:

The poster display board size is 1m wide and 1.3m high (11/03).

The conference venue has been changed.

The conference venue is Ta Quang Buu Library, Hanoi University of Technology, Ha Noi, Vietnam (10/23).

The draft program is announced (2008/10/20).

Participants who need a visa to Vietnam, please apply for a Tourist Visa.

The deadline for submissions has been EXTENDED to September 2, 2008.

INTRODUCTION

Taiwan had executed a 5-year National Science & Technology Program since January, 2002, and has initiated another 5-year program since 2008. The objectives of the program are listed as following: reate a diversified e-learning environment afford for learning anytime anywhere.

    1. Better equip the general public for a digital era to improve national competitiveness.
    2. Stimulate market demand to expand the economic scale of e-learning industry
    3. Shape an environment favorable for e-learning under policy guidance
    4. Taiwan as an R&D center for e-learning soft/hardware in global Chinese community.
    5. Taiwan becomes a global R&D powerhouse of e-learning-related technology.

TELearn 2008 provides a forum for the researchers who study technology enhanced learning to
publish their research results and to exchange their experiences in conducting relevant projects. A
selection of the best papers will be published in Innovations in Education and Teaching
International (SSCI journal).
